Desert View Hospital is preparing to mark a significant milestone this spring, inviting the community to join in celebrating 20 years of providing healthcare services to the Pahrump Valley. The 20th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will be held on the Desert View Hospital campus, offering a family-friendly day filled with food, entertainment, and community appreciation.

The celebration is designed as a thank-you to the community that has supported the hospital over the past two decades, bringing together residents, families, and local organizations for an afternoon of festivities and connection.

One of the day’s biggest highlights will be the arrival of the popular IN-N-OUT Cookout Truck, which will serve free meals to the first 800 attendees. Guests will be able to choose from a hamburger, cheeseburger, or Double-Double, accompanied by chips and a fountain soda. Organizers note that once the 800-meal limit is reached, no additional meals will be available for purchase, encouraging attendees to arrive early to take part in the special offering.

The event will also feature a lively midway experience with carnival-style games, along with classic treats including cotton candy and popcorn. While the midway will not include rides, the games and activities are designed to provide fun for all ages.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live entertainment will be provided by POP 40, a Las Vegas-based band known for performing popular hits that appeal to a wide range of audiences. The music is expected to bring energy to the celebration while guests enjoy the various activities throughout the campus.

Families attending the event will find plenty of kid-friendly entertainment, including face painting, a balloon artist, and a photo booth where attendees can capture memories from the celebration. The first 1,000 guests will also receive goodie bags filled with giveaways as an added thank-you from the hospital.

Another meaningful component of the event will be the presentation of community donations, highlighting financial contributions that support healthcare services and community wellness initiatives. The presentation serves as both a reflection on the hospital’s partnership with the community and a celebration of the shared commitment to maintaining quality healthcare in the region.

Over the past 20 years, Desert View Hospital has played a vital role in serving Pahrump and surrounding communities, and organizers say the anniversary event is intended to celebrate not only the hospital’s history but also the people and partnerships that have helped shape its success.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend the free celebration and take part in the festivities while recognizing two decades of care, service, and commitment to the Pahrump Valley.
