The Pahrump Valley community will have a chance to shop, support and connect later this month as Pahrump Valley High School (PVHS), in partnership with the Nye County School District (NCSD), hosts a community-wide yard sale on Saturday, April 18.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the PVHS parking lot, offering a variety of items for sale while raising support for local school clubs and NCSD staff members. Community members are encouraged to stop by, browse and discover hidden treasures—all while giving back to programs that directly benefit students and educators in the area.

From household goods and décor to unique finds and gently used items, the yard sale promises something for everyone. Each purchase helps support the efforts of PVHS clubs, which rely on fundraising opportunities like this to participate in competitions, activities and community initiatives throughout the year.

Organizers say the event is not only about fundraising, but also about bringing the community together in a fun and welcoming environment. It’s an opportunity for residents to connect with students, staff and neighbors while supporting education in a meaningful way.

Those planning to attend should note that community parking will be available in the Pathways parking lot. Attendees are also reminded to follow all Nye County School District guidelines while on campus, including the prohibition of weapons and illegal substances.

With a mix of shopping, community spirit and student support, the PVHS yard sale is shaping up to be a great way to spend a Saturday morning while making a positive impact locally.
