The PVHS girls’ volleyball team had a challenging week, facing tough competitors in their matches against Moapa and Meadows. On Thursday, August 29, the Trojans traveled to Moapa, where they faced their rivals in a fiercely contested match but ultimately fell 3-1. As Jasmine Di Preta reflects on her high school journey at PVHS, she fondly remembers the friendships and connections she made along the way. “Meeting new people and making friends” stands out as the most memorable experiences that have shaped her time in high school. The PVHS JV soccer team celebrated a thrilling victory on September 4th at home against SLAM, marking their first win over the league’s top team in more than five years. In a tightly contested match, the Trojans edged out SLAM 1-0, thanks to a stunning free kick from center midfielder and team captain Joan (John) Cruz.
