The Pahrump Valley High School Cross Country team delivered an impressive performance at the Lake Mead Invitational on Saturday, October 11, at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Boulder City, earning first place team finishes for both the boys and girls varsity small school divisions.

In the boys varsity small schools race, the Trojans showed remarkable depth and consistency across their lineup. Leading the way was Josh Gent, who crossed the finish line first for Pahrump and eighth overall with a time of 18:16. Close behind was Joaquin Flores, placing ninth overall in 18:41, followed by Timmy Stutzman in 12th at 19:05, Aydon Veloz in 13th at 19:10, and Josh Flores in 15th at 19:22. Ben De Santiago and Daniel Thompson rounded out the Trojans’ strong top seven, finishing 19th and 20th overall with times of 19:34 and 19:43, respectively. The team’s tight pack and top-20 placements secured the overall first-place team finish in dominant fashion.
