The Pahrump Valley High School cross country team took on a challenging 3-mile course at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, Arizona, on Saturday, September 20, racing at an elevation of approximately 7,200 feet. Despite the thinner air and shorter distance than a traditional 5K, the Trojans put together a strong showing across all divisions, with several athletes finishing in the top 20 to earn medals.

In the girls varsity race, Kaylan Robinson led the Trojans with a time of 21:35.19, placing 13th overall. She was followed by Rylan Bliss, who secured 25th overall at 22:18.07. Alexis Clouser crossed in 44th with a time of 23:24.92, Rosie Miller finished 52nd at 24:12.02, and Savannah Thompson rounded out the team with a 24:51.85 performance. Their consistent finishes highlighted the team’s ability to push through the demands of high-elevation racing.

Timmy Stutzman clocked 18:40.48 for 51st, while Josh Flores (19:06.26), Aydon Veloz (19:13.24), and Ben De Santiago (20:22.69) added to the Trojans’ depth in a highly competitive field.
