The annual Christmas in July craft fair is set to bring a festive mid-summer celebration to the Bob Ruud Community Center on Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days. With dozens of local artisans and crafters lined up, this indoor, air-conditioned event promises a full weekend of shopping, creativity, and community spirit—all with free admission.

The event was originally started in 2017 by local craft show organizer Randi Case, who helped build it into a beloved summer tradition. In 2023, Ashley Welch took over the event, and this year marks her third time organizing Christmas in July. Under her leadership, the fair has continued to grow, bringing together a vibrant mix of vendors and community support.

This year’s fair will feature a wide array of items, including handcrafted jewelry, handbags, home décor, bath and body products, fine art, quilts, sweet treats, tumblers, furniture, yard art, car freshies, paper crafts, hats, pet treats, freeze-dried candy, and so much more.

In the spirit of giving, the event will also host a dog and cat food drive to support the animals at West Star Ranch. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of pet food, which will go directly toward helping local animals in need.

From creative gift ideas to delicious snacks and meaningful community support, the Christmas in July craft fair offers something for everyone—whether you’re getting a head start on holiday shopping or simply enjoying a fun weekend outing. For vendor or event information, contact organizer Ashley Welch at artfromtheheartbyaw@gmail.com.
